Originally from Scotland, Ken has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physics and Electronics. He started his IT career in 1987 with a specialist IT recruitment organisation, then moved to WA in 1991.
Ken continued his IT industry career in Perth, focusing on professional business development and account management, with roles spanning hardware, software and services.
He has since worked with large global IT vendors as well as prominent Australian IT organisations in the WA marketplace. He has invaluable experience in developing business at the enterprise level in both public and corporate sectors.
Ken’s expertise also includes consultative selling focused on the delivery of ICT solutions that align with core business outcomes and strategies. He has a demonstrated track record of driving business growth by building genuine customer relationships and being proactively involved in ICT solution delivery.
Ken has a keen interest in sports – in particular rugby union, football (soccer), AFL and athletics. He is proud to have represented WA in rugby union, playing against international and interstate competition on a number of occasions. Ken actively supports grassroots rugby in WA.
